Default Eagle Day

Well knowing as you Americans like your Eagles thought i'd share these with you, all taken yesterday in glorious weather in the Welsh mountains, pictures taken from two locations, with the Sun dropping at 18.15 the final show of the Eagles was truly outstanding, was a long day though set out at 4am, left Wales at 19.00 for a mad rush back for a 15 hour night shift in the Fire Service, so today im well and truly Knackered but well worth it

Every time lozza posts pics the same question is asked.
Just do a search for his threads, all the tech info is there.

Great and impressive pictures, it takes a plane expert to take them as you need to anticipate where the plane will be at a given time.
Thanks for sharing!

Always meant to ask this. What are the squiggly lines in the canopies? Defoggers?

MDC - miniature detonating cords. Its a cord that detonates and breaks the canopy, fractions of a second before the ejection seat leaves the aircraft.

Phenomenal photographs! I love the pictures that you can actually see the pilot's face. In some of them, it looks like they are actually looking at you. Especially the one's sitting in the back.

Great shots!
