Hi WD 40...

Great looking landing gear! Since my winter project will be the 1/5 scale Kerry Sterner Vampire, I´d like to ask you, where I can get this beautiful landing gear??
Bought the plans and the lazer-cut kit already.......

petera38,

If You want to look at some nice pictures of a Kerry Sterner Vampire build, and painted in Swedish Air Force colors, have a look here (9 pages tread, language Swedish, but the pictures will probably give much information also for those that do not understand Swedish): http://www.rcflyg.se/forum/showthrea...024&page=9

Unfortunately this Vampire crashed on maiden flight because of some trouble with the radio but t flew great in about 8 minutes before the disaster on the approach for landing.

I flew my 1/4 scale this summer.
P-160SX, TOW 21 kgs with 4 liters of fuel. Robart gear and brakes, a friend made the nose leg from my sketches.

Hi Bo,
Thanks for informing me..however I have seen boths threads..Ivve Halberg´s as well as Göran´s...
Ivve is one of my friends..so I have been following his build and maiden flight closely.. and after a second thought...and listening to what the spectators saw, he admitted that the crash might be due to too low speed when going in for final..!

Hi Per,

I had the pleasure to watch your Vampire fly in LaxĂĄ...so that convinced me ...I had to build one myself, however just the smaller 1/5 version..

Dear Per Strommen,
I am just starting the Belair kit and am somewhat concerned to see that there is no washout on this highly-tapered wing .

The aircraft appears to fly very nicely judging Kerry Sterner's flight on Youtube - would you mind me enquiring how yours flies?

Cheers,
Keith
