Anyone know where you can fly jets in S. Georgia or N. Fla; preferably within 75 miles of Valdosta, Ga?
Thanks

Default N Fla Jet Friendly

There is a field that is in Jacksonville<FL it is called RCCJ there is one member out there that fly's full turbine jets at that field andhas no problems there. Also i have heard of a petition going around that field for an additional 100 feet of runway to make it even more jet friendly. Club is off of Hecksher Drive in Jacsonville. More specifically find a road called Island Drive and it is at the dead end. Club rates are very reasonable for yearly membership.

Hi Joel

Alabama has 3 jet Friendly Fields close together.

Selma has an old runway but to ruff for me.

Prattville is the best for jets its grass but smooth and long approach (fun-fly this weekend)

And then the RAMM field in Montgomery grass a little tight for most jets but my favorite.

So you are always welcome any time.

Our bottom line is a good time.

Johnny

Thanks for the info guys. I had been flying at the Homerville, Ga airport with permission of course since 1999. Sometime between Mar 03 and Jun while I was in the Persian Gulf area, the city passed an ordinance barring any remote control aircraft operations there.
So now I'm between a rock and a hard place with 2 turbine aircraft collecting dust.
