Iceman,

Don't know why, but no-body wanted to explain when I was asking the same question. Then after a lot of fiddling, I stumbled across the answer.

I am using Adobe Photo Delux. I have been using jpeg also and it has been working.

If you are using Adobe Delux, open up the file and when the picture appears, at the very top of the page, in the tool bar, select SIZE.

This will open up a box in the center of your screen that lists , width, height, and resolution. Out to the side of these selections are little drop down arrows. Click on the drop down arrow next to the --width, and change the choice from inches to " pixels " on both the width and height.

When you change from inches to pixels, only change the width numbers, as the height will change proporsional to the change with width. The forum will only accept 650 pixels or less, so I have been entering 630 pixels in the width selection box(just hi-lite over the inches and enter pixels). Then click on 'OK'

Now, go back up to the tool bar at the top of the page and click on ' FILE '. Select ' SAVE AS ' and from the drop down menu select ' JPEG FILE '.

First it will ask you where you want to save the new file to, and then down in the middle of the box, it will ask you to give the file a name. I usually save the file to my 'DESKTOP' as I discard them to the recycle bin when I am finished with them.

Now, when you click on the 'BROWSE ' button on the forum, just select 'DESKTOP ' and select the new file you want to attach to the forum...

Hope this will help you..I know it seems long winded, but it was the only way I knew how to explain the procees as I discovered it......Good luck
