Default BVM Thin Lube vs What I Have On Hand???

First of all I want to say that I'm thoroughly satisfied using BVM Thin Lube...I use it on every valve and cylinder in my jets even when new as it makes the entire retract system work more smoothly...

What I have on hand available to me is a silicone oil labeled as: Polydimethylsiloxane, Trimethylsiloxy Terminated-Silicone Oil, Viscosity 100....

How does this compare to Thin Lube???...What I have looks and feels the same as Thin Lube...Would this be OK to use in our applications???

TIA!!!
Kevin

generic silicone oil is what i use on all my valves/cylinders, never been a problem and always does the job.

I've always used model car shock oil which is just a silicone oil of the same viscosity. Always worked perfectly.

I'll second KC's response. I've been using silicone lube from my local auto parts store for years. Works great.

Don't use it if it's petroleum based. If it's silicone based then it would be OK.
