Scott, I'm getting ready too but from what his set-ups look like they are very complete. Well thought out and very affordable.

Scott,

I have several customers that have installed our Multi Watt Lighting System in an F-18F. Maybe Patrick Frost or Rex Bryant can chime in here. Both have installed the system in their Hornets recently. Both of their Hornets were ARF's. Maybe they can be of help here. I can help you with the general layout, but I have not received any photos from F-18F customers of their installs, so I can't say how the did their install. I'll see if I can contact Rex or Patrick. Maybe they took some pictures of their lighting system install.

Scott,

I just installed Dan's (details4scale) multiwatt system in my Yellow F-18, which was supplied pre-painted. It was actually pretty straightforward to do. Only trick part was using a sharpened brass tube to drill a hole from the bottom of the fin up into the fiberglass molded fin tip.

Dan made special lenses for the Yellow F-18 tail lights and strobes, and I think has them for other makes as well.

It is a very very nice system!

Here is a pic...

I just installed the Details4scale lighting system in my SM Viper, which Dan designed for the Viperjet. easy to install, fits perfect in the wing pockets etc. (never could figure out how to set up those German lights). Details4scale systems are also very easy to setup
