Default Born Again Hustler

Here are some pictures of my new JMP Hustler, (new to me) I totally renevated the systems and graphics of this well used JMP Hustler. Jet is powered by the Legendary AMT Netherlands Pegasus HP turbine and is guided by my trusty JR X9303 radio with the Spektrum AR9100RX using all A123 Batteries. I updated the fuel system to carry 185oz of fuel and 60oz of smoke fluid. Also equiped the jet with the EagleTree Telemetry which gives me Airspeed, Groundspeed, Altitude and G-loads. We have seen speeds of 252mph in level flight at our secret non- AMA facility. The airplane is rock solid and a blast to fly. This is one of the strongest well built airplanes available. The empty weight is 38lb and around 52lb at take off. The airplane jumps off the ground with very little effort. I hope to have it on the jet meet circut soon..

Dennis

p.s.. maybe now I can keep up with the bandit.......

Wow! She has made the circuit. That's MY old plane.[8D] Got it from a guy in Nebraska who got it from a guy in Wyoming. I traded to a guy in PA and now you got it. Congrats...you'll love it. I only got rid of it because I just couldn't keep up with the maintenance of 5 jets (not to mention a newborn who takes a ton of time). Did you buy it or trade it? If trade..what did you trade for it?

Hi Tony, I got it for a steal.. when all said and done I have $4500 in it, included Motor, airplane and servos pretty much a turn key deal. We were looking for something that fit our organization. We use the airstart Netherlands AMTs exclusivily and this airframe can handle the rigors of high speed flight and g- loads. I have always heard that the Hustler was fast, well now that we have the Telemetry to verify its speeds. I think i can get it to 300 in a steep dive. I have been flying it pretty conservitive as I get use to its characteristics. I have about 25 flights on it now. The color scheme really has worked out perfect for our sponsors logos. Your old airplane is in very good hands and has found a home. If anyone is considering a highspeed rugged aircraft, the Jet Model Products Hustler is the best built airplane money can buy.

Godspeed!

Dennis

Fast is cool, no doubt.

I hope you are flying at a private farm somewhere and NOT at an AMA facility?

There are plenty of folks who want to see turbines go away, and I'd hate to think that you'd knowingly and willfully put at risk the AMA insurance that the rest of us depend on by violating the organization's policies and then openly advertising that here. If nothing else, you are putting your SELF at greater risk should any mis-hap occur and someone's hungry attny find your posts. (Google is amazing)

Please consider re-calibrating you telemetry equipment. Is it possible that your Hustler, even as cool as it is, actually only bangs out 199 mph? For some odd reason almost everyone else's Flashes, Kingcats, Hustlers, Firebirds and plenty of other models all seem to hit a wall at 199.99

Wonder why that is?

We are not at an AMA Facility. That would break the AMA rules and I would never do that.......... Godspeed!
