Here is a video I made showning how to fix the retract cylinders for the Mibo A-10 if you have a set that are leaking.

Nice video, thanks for posting it.

My MIBO cylinders leaked because they were slightly "ovalized" (not round) and would leak or not as the plunger was rotated to different positions. The only fix was to replace them.

Due to the tendency of these cylinders to leak from a variety of locations, I conclude that the design and/or manufacturing tolerances are inadequate.

Waine, thanks a lot for the tip.

My cylinders don't have any leak so far, but is good to know how to fix them eventually.

regards
Jack

Nice job Wayne![sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Hopefully I won't need it, but like Jack said, good to know when/if we need it.

The problem you describe was due to a bad batch of cylinders from Jet A-1. Mibo replaces these free of charge if they are contacted and the product is sent back. Jet A-1 told Mibo that the problem is now fixed. I had this problem with a set of gear and the cylinders were replaced promptly.

Hmm,

Wonder if MIBO will replace my Gen 3 cylinders? Mine all leaked and Roger tried very hard to help me but ultimatley I had to go with another solution.

The cylinders/kits that Craig and Dave are referring to were G3 kits that were deliver over 4 years ago.
The clients that have more recent kits are advised that the fabricator of the cylinders have changed twice since Dave's and Craig's kits. Should any of you have a problem do the Wayne fix or return them to me for a fix or replacement? We have had 3 sets of later vintage cylinders to leak and all 3 have been successfully fixed with “O” rings.
Thanks to Wayne for locating the leak and determing the fix in some of the plungers.
