Multiple fuel tank hookup - series/parallel?

I have a YA F-16 and it already had the fuel tanks (along with an 8 oz hopper) connected in parallel. That is, the tubing for the vents were connected together and the feed lines are all connected together. The UAT connects to the T-ed off feed line. Does this work well? I thought if tanks were in parallel you could have one tank sucking air when empty, and this could potentially cause more air bubbles.
I was under the impression the tanks should be connected in series, so they are constantly being siphoned as one larger tank. Would a series setup reduce air bubbles?
Please educate me. Right now I am trying to find out why my turbine shut down mid air. I got a "speed low" message, and JC said it is most likely an air bubble. So I am trying to replumb the system to mitigate this from happening again...

If you go parallel make sure the vent and fuel lines going to your Tee's are the exact same length... Equal pressure will garentee a even fuel burn from both tanks. Works great for me !!!.

P.S. The tube length needs to be the same for the vents, and the two fuel lines need to be the same.. The fuel / vent tubes don't need to be the same with each other..

So if I match the lengths to the T's connecting the vents and feed lines a parallel configuration works just as well as a series setup?
