We did it again, weather forecast leading upto yesterday was pants, we ignored that and the driving rain and wind as we left for the breakfast meeting-even William looked at me and asked "you sure Dad"...yep, always. Good breakfast set up the day and bright and clear it was...little windy for some, but plenty of flights were logged including some test flights.
Usual suspects of "team Flash"-around six) Steve E's Ultrabandit AMT, Dave Butt Reaction P120SX. Trevor Skedge (P60)and me (P70) had the Inspiration's out for a blast-3 more flights on mine-a small c of g adjust forward has it dialed & sweet. Steve Ansel test flew his old converted Avonds F-15 with JetCat P120SX...nice flying aeroplane, Steve Roberts test flew his (now). (Originally built by Pete Aston as DF, bought by me and a conversion kit for turbine, sold to Agent Adds, then finally bought by steve and finished!!) BVM T-33 (P60 DSX-12), small gear problem but nice flyer. Colin Gontier's GJC L-39 (P160SX-DSX-12) had another flight with me at the controls, now fitted with a scale cockpit & c of g adjusted, a sticky elevator was diagnosed. Will be a nice flyer once fully sorted. Second test flight for Richard Johnson's AW Panther (P160SE-DSX-12) now controlled by a DSX-12 as the DSX-9 was too restrictive. Nice flying aeroplane, now it's sorted (I must finish mine!) I'll start a new thread as we have some nice shots and details. My CARF models Hawk was out again proving it likes wind too, lovely flying aeroplane!
I'm sure I missed something!

Hey yanks ! look at those brave english fools flying in the freezing cold... I mean fancy having to fly wearing clothes...and hats ! we're not used to all that clobber here in Florida..... maybe the fibre glass is more brittle in the cold ... so the planes don't flex.. Ha Ha ! seriously, I miss the good old flying days back home so I'm coming home for Christmas, so I hope to see Stevie and Willy Wiltshire, Pete and the boys whilst over in Blighty.... happy Landings Guys....MK

It's a BVM kit, really old DF model that was never finished, but built by a Professional model builder (film man) I bought it and ordered the Turbine conversion from uncle Bob, but never got around to doing the conversion, so sold it on after a couple of years.
Steve Roberts now owns it and has a P60 in it.

Dave,,, Pete Aston was building that T33 before i left England 13 years ago and it took him about two years to build it ! good to see it finally come to fruition and in a great scheme,,, BTW what ever happened to the three blade scale Beile prop for the F4 U and the MOKI 250 ? did they ever make it ?
