I'm trying!
I have been flying my other R/C planes.....EDF locally when I am not flying my Cessna but I miss the Turbine flying and all my friends. My wife of all people told me not to sell them all because I would just end up buying more.....I hate when she is right[:@]

Hi guys.
Any updates on this Phantom? I am thinking of buying one but it seems no one has them in stock.
Thanks,
Dom

Hi David and Bob!
I have an e-mail out to Anton in an attempt to secure one of these. If I can get one, I'll start my own build thread on it. I have a couple other irons in the fire as well but am looking at this model as my first choice. It may push me into next season however unless I can get one soon.

Hi Jean.
From what I have heard about the P-100, it is a slick little motor. Internal Kero Start, Internal Solenoids, Internal Temp Probe, new fuel pump on the bus system, mini ECU, Mini GSU and all about the size of a P-70. Anton and another fellow at Skymaster said that the P-100 would be perfect for this jet. Having not seen the jet in person and knowing that Phantoms and I like lots of power, I bought a new P120SX for mine. Anton had a P120 in his prototype according to the video.

Well Guys, i have some flight report for you, we did 4 flight yesterday, all i can say is the powerplant (Cheetah) is perfect for this plane. The f-4 fly very well but it was pretty nose heavy with the cg propose by skymaster to start with. On take off with 31 pound of thrust it lift alone without flap, but when flying inverted it was going down pretty fast. When turning it has tendency to go down. We concentrate the 4 flight on flap adjusting and landing. Landing was a bit of a challenge, we had to come in very fast to have elevator authority. But i'm pretty satisfied on how it fly. I will have video for you guys this week.
Next week , we will test it with different cg.

Thanks for the info! I just got confirmation that Skymaster has started on mine.
The video would be great. Also, please let us know how it performs if you move the CG aft. Did you get a chance to test out the slow-flight characteristics at altitude? Is the elevator authority issue one of speed or does having the flaps down cause it? Perhaps moving the CG aft will make it better.

Congratulations Mdeseve! Keep us posted. Can you llist your final C.G. and control throws?
Bob,
Who did you get confirmation from? I ordered mine on 6/30/11 and still have not seen any type of confirmation. I will send patty at BVM and e-mail and see if she has any updates for me.
Thanks,
Dom

I called Patty and asked her (since I had not heard anything) if they had acknowledged my order - which they had not. She got in touch with them again and then sent me an email saying that they had the order and had given her a 7-8 week delivery time (which she said typically takes 8-10 weeks).
