Default Cockpit Kits?

Hey Jet Guys!

I need some suggestions for an airplane I'm working on. I need a cockpit kit that will work for the ESM PC-21

http://www.vqwarbirds.com/products/a...t/ESMPC21.html

I got some 12" pilots ready to go for this bird but cant seem to locate a quality cockpit kit. Any suggestions are appreciated

thanks

matt

Matt,
LOL on finding a high quality cockpit for your bird. I have a Composit ARF Tucano Turboprop that I have been looking for a decent cockpit for almost two years now. The supplied cockpit is pretty Mickey Mouse. You would think that somebody would come up with a professional looking cockpit for these models.

I hear ya John, it seems this part of our hobby lacks in product. Hmm..business idea? Create cockpit kits for various airplanes?

My cockpit is simple, decals for gauges and thats about it.

I've been trying to find a good cockpit for my COMP-ARF Lightning (that i keep threatening to build!) . I have asked several times about the TAM's cockpits thinking that while a little pricey, they look pretty good. i have, however never been told by anyone if they would fit. I even bought a Blue Box F-15 cockpit thinking that i would, like others, strip it down to put in the Lightning. i guess i am kinda of lazy in this regard, and would rather take something that looks like a TAM cockpit.

any thoughts?

i thought that some of the Skymaster cockpits would be great but then hearing about the VIPER cockpit, makes me think that they are too flimsy if in fact the Skymaster cockpits on their website are made of the same material as the SM VIPER cockpits.

i'd pay 300 bucks for a detailed, non-flimsy cockpit (oh it cannot weigh a ton, right?).

Try to contact Mike at global jet club, very helpful and can probably assist.

If anyone needs detailed pictures and schematics of the PC21 cockpit let me know, have loads accumulated from the PC21 build I did a while back.

If you are looking for a cockpit kit for PC21, this guy is in Austria.
He has a couple of sizes or he will make you one up.
I have ordered one for my PC21.
