with it, I just won't post anything about it here. Not after the last go around. After quite a bit of work though, and a pressure regulator, I did get it to work pretty well. Looks VERY cool at night. I even managerd to focus the gas flow so I get sort of a " pointed flame " that comes out of the pipe.

I am sure you will not like it but we are really fighting to maintain our good safety image. I am not trying to stifle creativity, but just trying to live within the reality of the rules we have today.
It is important for us to show that we are proactive in our own community. Some on the EC are hostile toward jets, and unless you are going to fly on your own property with cows watching we need the AMA.

Matt I totally under stand where you are coming from, and i am about the most safety minded person around ,I certainly don't have money to be blowing out like crazy for lots of turbines ( who does ? ) . Once , and only once I get the turbine with a few tanks of fuel run through her, and make damn sure that the after burner in full reheat will function properly, then and only then will I grab a roo ( or some other cheap trainer to be my test bed ), have the fire extinguishers on hand , kick the tires and lite the 2 stage fires,

try and remember that I am PLAYING with something, on my workbench, at home, never to be installed in my one and only jet. This is where things get WAY out of control. If I hotrod my weed eater, is Sears going to get pissed at me ? I am experomenting with something in my home, with my home owners insurance. This really has NOTHING to do with the AMA. Think about it.

I don't know if this information has been published here yet but looked like a good thread to post it in:
