Default WING TO FUSELAGE JOINT

What technique do you guys use to get a smooth wing,fuselage transition? I am building a jet and have a gap that needs filling in along the bottom.your ideas are most appreciated,pics would be of help.thx.

Easy, just cover the Wing root on the fuse with either packing tape or a thin layer of vaseline/neosporin (petroleum jelly) and then slather the wing with filler of your preference. Assemble the wing and let dry, done!

That's exactly how I have done that on my Hurricane and Tsunami. I used saran wrap pulled tight around fuselage and mixed West System resin with 410 filler to the concistancey of peanut butter. I put enough of the mix around wing root and pushed the whole wing against the fuse. After drying, I sand the extra and the fit is perfect.

okay very cool...yes in the past i have used epoxy and micro balloons.sounds good thx guys.

You can also use Hysol. It takes a couple more days to completely cure, but after you sand it I swear you could shave with the edge it will leave.
