I know this is not really "Jet Related" in terms of the job but I thought you guys would like to see the work Jeremy is capable of....
I am an avid vintage/unusual engine collector and also collect some vintage Tether cars. I acquired a fairly rare Ohlsson & Rice tether that had been refinished at some time in it's life but was done very poorly; the car was in pretty bad shape cosmetically. Since it was not a factory finish on the car; and a rare chassis, I thought it deserved a full restoration. I contacted Jeremy about doing the paint work for me, I had already come up with a scheme I wanted.
Jeremy stated it was a difficult job due to the size but I had no doubts he was the man for this project. I was not disappointed! If your looking for a top of the line finish on your Jet, be it scale or sport, CONTACT JEREMY! This guy has mad skillz with a paint gun!
Here are a few pics.... Before and after.....
Thanks Jeremy, you da man!

Wow Todd, you got that together fast haha!!!! Looks awesome with all the bits on it!
This LITTLE project took way longer than I wanted it to, longer than Todd wanted it to as well, let me tell you, painting something this small is a HUGE challenge, especially with all the little details that are cast into it! Then trying to sand or polish it, I can't remember how many times I would burn through a small sharp corner and have to do a touch up!
Seeing it all together though is awesome! Todd you did a great job polishing up all the other parts!
Thanks for the kind words my friend, I hope I never have to paint another Tether car LOL!!!!!!!!!

Todd, I didn't know you collected these. My Oldest brother Jorge is a die hard teather car collector. He has a beautiful collection. Give me a call I will hook you up with him. You guys can take cars. There aren't many of you guys out there. For those of you who don't know, some of these teather cars can get quite pricey. I know, I have seen my brother shell out some big bucks at the Toledo show. Very Nice Paint Job Jeremy, can you paint one of my 1/72 scale AFX slot cars?

Hey Alex,
Yes, I have several vintage tethers and your right, they can get extremely pricey depending on manufacturer, drive train and model.
They are a bit of nostalgia for me... My first experience with model engines was with a Cox tether dragster that I got for my 6th birthday. I played with that dragster for years! Been hooked ever since.....
I have that dragster (well a replacement anyway
) sitting on my desk as a reminder of where it all started for me....

Todd,
I was lookin' at the Tether car in Jeremy's shop. What a cool piece and looks outstanding with that paint job on it.
I get my weekly fix going over to Jeremy's shop - feed Ginger dog bisquits (she's my best friend now), ooogle paint jobs, then go fly Habu vs Strykers behind his shop.
Glad to hear the paint job worked for you.

Nice cars Todd. If you are ever in the lakeland/winter haven area, you need to come by his house and check out his collection. I will have him give you a call this weekend.
