So Johnsays the event is June 10-13, yet theflyer says August 26-29.
Even the Eli field site is confusing...http://www.elifield.com/events.html
"<span style="color: #0000ff">August 26-29</span>, 2010 - Illini SuperJets
Our second annual jet flyin <span style="color: #ff0000">has been moved to June </span>so we can enjoy warmer weather and host a larger crowd........"
So whatare the correct dates?

i drove up there last year for the inaugural and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
I knew the weather was gonna suck for the first couple of days Fri, Sat[
] but sunday was beautiful and the prospect of seeing a couple of good buddies again made the trip worthwhile. it's a big field, with lots of growth potential for ramp space and overnight storage in the way of a new Hangar. airspace is wide open for those horizon to horizon knife edge passes or on the deck aileron rolls. potential to ship to Horizon to get your jets to field (just a guess) would be a bonus and some of the friendliest folks in the jet community.
good people, good times, doesn't get much better for an out of towner
if the mississippi gang is coming maybe we can get David to cook up some mudbugs!!!! it'll make for a delightful flight home amigo.
cheers

Forget the website, it never gets updated. Don't have anyone who does it.
Correct dates are the August dates.
I have hotel information but am out of the country to post at the moment.
I have 25 rooms blocked at the hotel just down the street from the event. No U of I football game this year to mess with us. Also the room fee garauntee is only good till 45 days prior to the event. Cost is $89.99 a night plus tax.
More info to follow once I am back in town.
Ali, just come, it will be a great time.
Also one other note. For all of you west coast guys who would like to attend but don't want to haul your jet across the country, if you drop it off at the Horizon Warehouse in Ontario California we will ship it to the event and return it for free. You just need to fly out. You must crate your jet, we don't package, we just deliver.
