Default Jet Cat Temperature Sensor Help

Hi:

My Jet Cat P-80 temp sensor wires are broken. I realized it because a temp error displayed in the GSU.

Has any of you had this problem?

Can I solder both wires from the temp probe to the circuit board? (Maybe I need short extensions)

Can it be copper wires? Or should the be the same type of wires used in the sensor joint (termocouple?)

Can it be tin solder used to solder electronic circuit board?

I have also made this question to Jet Cat

The wires in the sensor is very fragile, get a new one, they are not too expensive.

Sorry Guillermo I missed the message, busy at work.

These are fairly inexpensive, and you could do a temporary swap, they are the same except for the P-60 and the P-180/200.

Thanks Matt, Vincent and George:

Unfortunately I don't have another turbine to do a temporary swap.

I have already ordered the sensor from BVM but as I live outside the USA, my jet will be grounded (but safe), this weekend.

I am a little dissapointed because the wind is starting to be calm so this weekend I was planning to fly my F-16 at least for the third time after being grounded for more than 1 1/2 years after my first F-16 crash.

Anyway, I will wait a week more with my jet safe on ground.
