Default JR10X problem...any help would be appreciated

Doing the final trim setup for the big F4 and My JR10X decided to not allow me to trim the rudder toward the right. Left works fine, but the right trim is totally dead. I've looked all through all of the settings and found nothing that would INH this.

Even tried it on several other models programed in it. Same thing...

I think the trim switch is toasted. I wonder how long it would take Horizon to repair it? Probably longer than two weeks. In that regard I'm looking at having to replace the transmitter I guess. Maybe its time anyway to move up to a 12x.

Andy,

Just guessing, but I would check your sub-trim and make sure it is zero'd out.. If you need to center the rudder on set up and the switch is infact inop... just put it where you want it in the sub trim-function. Thats all I can think of unless you have it mixed to an aux channel for nose wheel steering.... You may have the + or - messed up or the offset....[sm=confused.gif]

Good luck, see ya in 10 days !!!!

Had the same thing happen once on a test flight, could not get aileron trim in the direction I needed. Turned out to be a very small bit of dirt that stopped the trim lever from going over and making contact. We just cleaned it out with a small brush and all was well. You might give that a look.

Andy,

Whats the verdict???? I can bring my extra 10X for you to use in Mississippi if you need it. Plenty of model memory availible. Not sure about the battery... You could bring yours, or I have a brand new JR Batt pack in the package if needed...... Let me know. I will be there Wednesday early afternoon. You will need to bring whatever TX modules you need.(2.4 or 72...) whatever you use. This radio has 72 module in it now, can't remember what channel...[sm=confused.gif] Works great !!!!.... Let me know if you want me to bring it.
