I have a Funsonic FS-52 turbine that is recently back from service. I re-trained my transmitter to the ECU, re-calibrated the fuel pump, and reset the thermocouple. It runs and the thrust range is normal; however, when I advance the throttle, the thrust cone turns red hot on one side and a fine flame glow begins to blow out the rear. If I accelerate slowly, this does not happen. Thermocouple running temperatures appear okay on the GSU. The engine has 7 hours total time and the bearings were just replaced. I believe that it is getting too much fuel when I advance the throttle stick. Oddly enough, when I had to send the engine in, it had seized due to a preload in the rear of the turbine caused by excessive heat. Any ideas on how to fix this or slow the fuel down during throttle up?
