Default Merlin 90 Fuel Usage

For those of you flying with Merlin 90 power, what size fuel tanks are you using and what flight times are you getting?

I'm trying to work out how much fuel I need on board for sensible flight times.

Thanks,

2,2 l gives me 8 minutes of flight with 1 go-around margin.
I do use a good amount of thrust management during my flights...

I had 2 1.2 litre dubro tanks in the Swallow with my Merlin 90 and we landed with one tank 1/2 full after 7-8 mins. In my Sabre I have limited room so have fitted 2 1 litre tanks. I am sure this will be enough for normal flying at modest throttle settings.

Depending on the airframe and throttle usage 2.5L should give you plenty with 2L as a minimum if you are pushed for space Darren.

2.5L tank in sprint, getting 9min flight then landing with just under a third of a tank left! Gonna be extending my countdown timer again soon!
