We haven't got them over here yet but they are supposed to be available with either a nine or twelve channel rx we are told.

It comes with a 921 receiver..if you want to use all 11 channels, you have to buy a 12ch. Receiver. HH didn't offer the 11x with a 12 when I bought mine

I never understood why a radio with XXX channels would come with a receiver with more or less channels than the transmitter. So you're either paying for extra channels on a transmitter you can't use without purchasing a different receiver, or you're paying more for a receiver you can never fully utilize. I just think it would be nice if an 11 channel receiver was sold with an 11 channel radio.

I believe we are looking at a merchandising ploy. 12 channel receiver goes for 100 dollars more.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the radio without the receiver.

Hi, So how are you finding it, whats the feel like compared to the 9 and 12 ??? Some TXs feel plastic and sorta cheep, hows this one ???

Yes i agree with all comments posted, seems stupid to be buying a new radio with 2 channels short on the RX !!! But its obviously been done to keep the price down,
and make it look more attractive to get into...

Just costed up getting a 12 RX in NZ, $570 NZD !!! As a comparison a 12X TX and RX set, $2475... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Cheers Jeremy.

Just got mine 2 days ago, bought it in Singapore it came with a 12 channel Rx . It does not have the solid feel of the 12X and felt a little plastic when i first saw it but after playing with it for 2 days, now feels a bit better. Cannot really complain at half the price of the 12X.

I've got 6 days of flying on mine (so about 30 flights) and am VERY pleased with the radio. It does have a bit of a plastic feel to it, but no more so than a 9303. The programming differences took some getting used to, but i like the new options and the increased complexity of programming you can get into (its still JR simple to program). The Feel is very comfortable to me (i fly with a strap). The things i like about the radio are the feel, looks, the switch assignability and the increased programming options. Ohh and you can now change models without having to turn the radio off, and the screen back-light is AWWWWEEESOME! I would of liked for it to of been $100 more and come with a 12channel receiver, but it didn't bother me that it did not. The slider location takes a bit of getting used to, but after 2 or 3 flights with the jet and using the slider for the wheel brakes, i have found it more comfortable than the side mounted sliders on the 9303. The only thing that i dont like, is on the main timer screen, my neck strap blocks the minute digit of the timer. The one thing that makes up for that, is the audibly different timer "beeps" during the last minute of the timer count-down.

Overall I am 100% pleased with the radio!
