I was going there to see one of the new Yellow F-18 arfs fly. What I got was much more, there were probably 10 turbine jets that showed up to fly. This was very exciting to me because I had never experienced the TURBINE buzz. I owned a Y/A F-18 single that was D/F powered and loved it, but the gravity Gods finally had there way with it. I contacted Shawn Evans (Yellow Aircraft) to ask about a replacement F-18. He met me half way in Prado so I could see the beautiful new low vis. arf that was to my enjoyment turbine powered.
I saw everything from a Kangaroo with a P-120 on it doing things jets shouldn't do, to a blazing fast bandit, to a F-14 Tomcat. I couldn't tell you how many roaring high speed passes were made that day. The sound, the power and the smell was all I could think about. After a day or two of no sleep, I called Shawn and ordered a new low vis. F-18 arf. It has me so excited that I actually paid the $237 extra to have it sent two day air...by my calculations that puts it here TOMORROW! Turbine waiver here I come!!! Thanks to everyone there that remained patient through all of my drooling and question asking, especially Shawn who offered to help me with my new F-18, that's what I call customer service!!

KFalcon,
Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely wife last weekend. I'm glad you got a new jet, too! Bring it down this weekend if you want, cuz there'll be a whole lot of building going on at my place anyway! I'll get a couple of pals to help us, and we'll have that sucker RTF by Sunday night!

KFalcon- You is da man... Keep us posted!

Razor,
Yes, that's the place. We've got many, many A-4 flights, as well as T-powered Falcons, Hornets and Starfires, out there! The curbs ain't no factor. Let's do it this weekend.
