Default MiG-15

Hello

I would like to build a Mig-15 in 1/5 scale. I have all the drawings finished exept for the wing. I would like to use a symetrial airfoil like NACA0010 or something similar. Can anybody tell me how much washout is usefull to make. If i make to much of washout the model will have various piching moment thrugh the speed range. A lot of trimming will be needed. If washout is too small stall caracteristics are not so good...

Can anybody tells me how much of washout is used on carf mig 15?

thanks

Regards Jetson

mig 15 does not need wash out. wing fence will help. never seen one tip stall,, wags the nose and keeps coming..

I thought to make 1 deg. of washout. Lack of lift on wing tips due to washout will i compensate with 1 percent of camber on the tip airfoil.
This is how i thought to do. If fences will help then none of above is needed. Thanks

So CARF MiG-15 has no washout??

Regards

I cannot be sure but I believe the BVM Mig15 did have some washout at the tip, the leading edge sanding templates did have an offset to them.
I am sure one of the BVM guys can add to this in more specific terms.
