Is this thread all just wishful thinking? With all due respect to the original poster, are we relying on one source or has anyone else heard anything about this new engine?
That was the purpose of this thread.. so far the information has been remarkably consistent from a variety of sources. Of course, everything is wishful thinking until the product is announced, and hits the streets........

Smaller size with more thrust means more revs= noise the current P80SE is the quietest turbine you can get, and in these noise sensitive times that is an important factor to consider.

Mike
I'm with Mike.
I really really dont like the terrible noise and sound of the G-booster 90, Wren support, etc.
I sure hope the P80 will sound like a turbine and not like a screaming mouse catched in a boobytrap!

The p100 (sx??) Will be a good news for the owners of médium size jets !!
P80 is very reliable but definitely too heavy !

Thank you
Jean-Philippe

I think at JetPower next week...

Anyway, if it is true, we might expect a lot of promotions on the P-60 and P-70 ... as long stock lasts...

no prices will remain i heard
the p-80SE is still one of the best sellers out there.
IF there is a P-100 on the stand , it will be added to the production line but wont replace the P-80SE.
and the p-60SE will stay also.
but all is just a rumor.

Well,in Europe,P80SE is 1588 eur and P120sx is 2100 eur.If P100 come in P80SE's price range, they would have to drop prices cuz P100 will be P70 size and between P80 and P120 thrust.
Hoping...

I found that JetCat turbines are really cheaper in Europe than in USA.

Well,P20 is more expensive thna P80SE and P60SE right now.
Smaller the turbine, more precise it has to be.It also run at much higher rpm.
P60SE-160000rpm
P80SE-123000rpm
P20SE-245000rpm

dont forget he is quoting the prices without vat..
he will need to pay the taxes on arrival
buying from local shops vat is included
sometimes prices are the same but the extra,s you get for free count ;-)

the one you point to is a used one but still cheap...

This turbine will be a great one to fit into F4C class scale model where the weight limit is at 15kgs without fuel.
Hope to see it soon at JP.

P120 stay, P80 Stay- P-70 BYE BYE. The 80 is still one of the best sellers JC makes, that is why they upgraded it to the SE and dropped the price. Expect the 100 to come in between the P20 and P120. Remember that material costs are really minimal between the mass of a 120 and a 20 but the labor and assembly costs for a 20 are MUCH higher. Scotty
