Keith:
I believe the main gear retracts (strut may be different) for the Lightning series are the same as the Tucano Check this out and if I am correct, may speed up your search .

Eric

Yes...maybe no!
They are C 50 Behotec units, be careful as there are different retract angles, I think the Lightning is 90 degree and the Tucano might be 85 degree...like the CARF Tutor.

The C-50 main unit is the same, however that is where it ends. The trunion pin is a different size and the trunion sweep is also different. They are not even close to being usable I heard.
The rumor floating around is that the retracts will no longer be built (Tucano version that is).
Does anyone have any info on the rumor?
Thanks...
Beave

Ok, the story has a happy ending.
First, the unit is a C50 but as Dave and Boli pointed out, the throw is 85 degrees and the trunnion pin is 10 mm, not 8.
Boli talked to Andy Kane who made some phone calls and within a few hours, had located a spare and it is on its way to me.
Thanks for the comments and the help. K.
