the only reason I'm asking is because during the summer I burn enough that the 5 gallon cans at home depot are breaking me at $50 each - the closest FBO pump is 30 miles and I have this propane place right here.
I bought some 5gal cans from HD and after sitting the winter they had algae too. so I dont think it matters anymore. just use a good quality gasoline filter on your feed lines in my opinion
