thanks to Joe and Lowell for putting on a great event, I had a great time. It was awesome to hang out with my jet buddies, its been way too long, this show has given me the motivation to finish my plane ASAP and get something to fly and join in the fun again. These show's are an incredible amount of work to put on and you can tell that Joey and Lowell cut no corners for making sure everyone had a great time.
Thanks to:
Kenny Mac for coming to get us at the airport, even though we did not need our radio programmed or any Horizon support at all....he still dropped everything and ran out to pick us up at the airport on Friday.
Duky for keeping the Shangri-Law stocked with drinks and chairs and a place for everyone to converge.
Dave Phillips for seeing me stranded at the field on Saturday and giving me a ride back to the hotel even though he wasnt staying there.
Tam for just being Tam and being a good sport about pretty much everything.....sorry about your pillow bud!
Ali for finding a new BFF to share the cupping
Ian for not realizing that I turned off the intercom so we could not hear him talk for the last hour of the flight.
Pablo for buying that P-40 at the auction
Smokin Joe and Billy for just being great reasons to be somewhere
Barry for his choice of billboards
Uncle Joe for showing us that no matter how old and crusty we are, a little game can go a long way
Lowells wife for the Bannana bread and just being sweet to everyone
Magoo for making me wish I got there earlier
Shui for looking like he really missed Scott Marr
and all the sponsors who made this show possible.

I am sorry I was unable to hold up my end of support, but you guys did not lack for anything. The event was run with class, and I for one, was proud to take part in it, even if it was but a brief moment. I had a blast, met a bunch of great people, and made some great new friendships.
Ali, THANKS for gettin me "back on the horse", and all the support, I learned a lot, (apparently not enough...Lol) but gettin back in the air again was great and I thank you for that.
The after hours activities were off the hook, a lot of laughs... Pablo you're a "one off" and Ill see you and Shui in Florida in a week... I'm lookin forward to that.

I just want to add our thanks to Joe and Lowell for a great time this weekend. It was a great event, great turn out of pilots and aircraft. Hope to have the first video uploaded by the end of this week. BTW, the A-10 ground attack on Saturday looks great on video too

What an achievement by Joe and Lowell, with all the support from Nancy and Rene, this has truly been a great event.
Like to thank Shui for all the endorsement and putting up such a great demo flight, you and the K170 made that classic Lightning look like a rocket ship, no one could ever tell that you had never flown this plane prior.
Also like to thank Ali at the auction, to step up for the cause and being the winning bidder of both the K-80 and 170. For that, we are going to provide you with lifetime maintenance on both engines.
Also like to thank unclejoe for all the pictures! and looking forward to the videos from Scott and Lisa, thank you both.
Looking forward to this event again next year, and thank you all!

What an great week I have had. It's been a toughie, and I am feeling a little drained and burned out right now, but what a laugh I had!
As always when I came to the U.S I met up with lots of old friends, and made some amazing new ones.
Just before I fall asleep on my keyboard, I need to say a massive, huge and Gigantic thankyou to Joe C and Lowell for going to all the effort to stage this event, and if it were possible an even bigger thanks to Joe for showing me such wonderful hospitality, and being so generous.

I am so glad that I was able to join you all VIRTUALLY through internet at the banquet and bid on the auction. Pablo was killing by eating in front of me all the time, especially that piece of cheese cake.
You guys are great in putting together such a great jet rally right in our So. Cal background. Too bad I missed that. My wife is having my 4th kid, so I got to stick around 8000 miles away from you all. I slowly realize that collections of jets is more affordable than a collection of kids.
See you all next year at BITW. I am sure I will be home by now.

Thanks so much to you both (and Nancy and Rene) for all your hard work in putting on such a great event. I really had a great time hanging with the bro's. A special thanks to Ali, Shui, and Pablo for making the trip out west. Barry, thanks for helping to decorate the event!!!!!
As for the banana bread, $50 is a small price to pay for one of Rene's masterpieces. We had a bit of it last night and will be rationing the rest. Kathy is very impressed and asked about getting the recipe but I figure that's a more closely guarded secret than Tam's recipe for magic smoke.

Thanks to all of the pilots for making the trip out to Lancaster and putting on an outstanding show. This was some of the BEST flying I have ever seen at an event and the pictures being posted are really incredible. I had a great time and heard lots of postive comments from the club and would like to thank all of the club members who volunteered their time to help make this happen. I would also like to thank Steve Madaule on the BBQ for donating his time and efforts to make some really good pulled pork. That pulled pork just doesn't measure up anywhere else. Last but not least, I would like to thank Joe and Lowell for their time and efforts in promoting and running the event. As a club member, I would have never envisioned this event at our little field and I was impressed by what got accomplished in such a short time period. Thanks to both of you!!!!!
