Default Simjet Nexus -need help

Hello,
I've bought a second hand Simjet Nexus only with
a general manual for the Fadec-Ecu but no manual
especially for the Nexus. The turbine runs fine but
the spool up and -down takes a half eternity.
Can someone tell me the settings for the
acceleration- and the deceleration delay ?
Thanks for your help.
Greetings
Alexander

Hello Alexander.
If you bring it to Jetpower, I will be happy to assist you. I have 5 Simjets running, and know a little about programming the Gaspar Fadec. There will be several people there, who can help you.
Regads

Alexander:

The standard settings for acceleration and deceleration delay are a value of 15, just keep in mind that while reducing the values to the default (I assume yours are higher based on your description), your engine may not work properly at them. Peak performance running engines have limitations on spool up/down speed, exagerated values used for the engine to run reliably could be indications of other problems like poor combustion or dying bearings. Also keep in mind that temperature also plays a role on acceleration performance, even if you set it up to spool fast, if the temperature nears the maximun allowed, the ECU will limit fuel flow to maintain temperature within limits, also reducing spool-up speed.

My advise would be to get a hold of someone running the same set-up, copy the values and see how the engine performs, if you have to make adjustments they should be minimal, if they are huge, I recommend you have the engine checked.

Stig and Ruiz,
thanks for your answers.
Stig, I' ll be there only as an spectator,
me and my son drive with a friend in his full up
loaded (camping equipment) car, so there is no
space for the test bench.
Ruiz, I understand, my acc value is 020 and the
dec value is 029. Think the turbine is ok, it came
from the service before I bought it.
The handling and start sequenz ist very easy and
satisfied.
Stig, the weather will be fine at the weekend !!!!
Thanks again and greetings.
Alexander
