Weathering
HI all, anyone tried the artists oil paint, and oil of turpentine, as in post 306.

Yes I did on my Carf Mig 15
Its easy and works for me!, just follow the directions and you'll be amazed about the effect [8D] Turpentine is just used to thin the paint so you can apply it easier, Frank |

Is weathering done using oil based paints?? What about fuel proofing weathered surfaces?? More details on this and exact color match to use would be much appreciated.

Yes oil paint base...

i hane not paint protection... because i can remove or re-apply the wheathering at anytime
