Weathering
 

HI all, anyone tried the artists oil paint, and oil of turpentine, as in post 306.

what is oil of turpentine.

Yes I did on my Carf Mig 15

Its easy and works for me!, just follow the directions and you'll be amazed about the effect [8D]
Turpentine is just used to thin the paint so you can apply it easier,

Is weathering done using oil based paints?? What about fuel proofing weathered surfaces?? More details on this and exact color match to use would be much appreciated.

Yes oil paint base...

black colour
earth or brown colour

i hane not paint protection... because i can remove or re-apply the wheathering at anytime
