Got to weigh the A-7 today it came in 34.2# dry
I realize this is a large jet, but given the composite structure I thought it would be lighter. My SM L-39 with a P-120 doesn't weight this much dry.

Hello all,

Having a hard time trying to find any info stating where the CG location would be.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can also PM Lewis Patton (Jeteye), he is currently flying one and I'm sure has good intel on CG placement ranges.

Start with 340mm, and that will be a good safe placement. After a few flights I moved one of my battery packs behind the pilots seat (near the steering servo). I haven't checked the numbers there, but start at 340mm. It flew well at 340, so that's very safe. I really love this airplane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That weight is very good. Mine with a Rhino is 34.5. The A-7 is well built, and I think light considering it's size. IT'S A BIG BOY.

Does anyone have any photos of the inside equipment layout that they can post. Also is there a top hatch for the turbine access?

Thanks.

Hi Vin,

Here is the link for the Build Thread. Installation photo is on post #68. There are also two video links on the page.
