RE: F-18F multi angle video

Once again, thank you guys. I'll try your suggestions and use only one sound track and add some pictures at the beginning of the video.
I'll certainly come back here with more of these.
I'll also try some other camera positions like below the nose facing to the rear or at the back of the plane facing to the rear...

Very cool Oli. Did you use the solid back, or open back?
A great shooter on the ground with solid equipment would be a nice addition to these awesome camera angles.
Nice work,
Paul
Oh yes Paul. I wish I had a great shooter with me!!!!
But I have not found any one in Dubai.
And I fly alone most of the time. So this is one great way of having at least something left from these flight.

I 100% agree with you. It would be super nice to have sequences taken from the outside in the video.
Wanted to add that I really liked the hydraulic lines you've added to the gear. Really enhanced the feel of the underbelly shots in your vid Oli.
Thank you Paul.
That scale gear gave me a lot of work. I am still working on the nose strut though...

Nice video :D. my PC is alright, quad core etc ;).
It is something I also want to do with the B during testing. But first I have to build one :D.

Peter
So try Firefox with the latest flash player, Peter. The 16 should be big enough to accept a few cameras of this kind...
It's really interesting to see the behaviour of the full flying elevator and gear doors/struts.

That has to be one of the best rc turbine video's I have seen! Awesome work. I bet it took ages to edit, so credit where credit is due.

Yes, editing is not easy. First, all the video tracks must be synchronized. I use a specific event for this ( when the airplane taxies above a line painted on the ground ). I then take one reference track ( the one facing forward ) and cut it keeping in mind when I would like to have a change of the angle. I then cut all the other tracks at the same position and move the relevant segments to the final video track like a mosaic.
Putting only one camera sound track there should not be a big problem.

Fantastic job on the video! I loved the dust being kicked up by the wheels on landing. It kinda looked like a full scale smokin the tires when it sets down.
Yes, that looks nice. I was a bit worried about sand blasting the ventral camera lens, but it looks OK so far...

Awesome Oli!!!

Have one of the big ones in the "oven" for a friend in Fargo, ND. Should be ready by mid January. True twin.

Oh I can see that you still have some work to do on this one, Rex.
The tricky part is to get a scale looking landing gear. Lots of work involved.

Oli, Very nice vids. Loved the Diff cam angles. The music was also good.
