RE: C&C Model L-39 Big

I got from C&C model the normal new 2,5ltr fuel tank and the old tank.
I wanted to use the old tank to modify it so I have a part fuel for the turbine and a part for smoke oil. Yesterday I measured the capacity of the big fuel tank and this can hold 5 ltr of fuel! Mhhh, a little to much I guess, even for my old P120. Today i started modify this tank, I will have now 3,5 ltr for fuel and a little less then 1 ltr of smoke. |

RE: C&C Model L-39 Big
Nice build...
care to elaborate a bit more on how you cut the nose and how you intend to reattach it so that it can be secure yet convenient to open? Thanks! |
RE: C&C Model L-39 Big
Thanks.
I don`t know exactly how I will make this, yet. I`m thinking of 2 options. 1 is with a hinge in the front and magnets at the aft side. But this is maybe a bit weak during opening. 2 is by just sliding the nose on over a few bolt heads. As I know how it will be I sure will post some pictures. Greetz, Berto. |
