Yeah, right, the bumper on the underside of the tail, designed to withstand in case of tail accidentliy striking the ground on landings or take-off. Very difficult to find a good picture of it. :-(

I did my best to get the geometry right as I wanted it to resemble what the full-size looks like. Not all 100% but not too bad I think. Hope the pics clarify some.

Photos of 711 would be great, especially if you have one from each side, front and back.
Basically I need photos of all around the plane. If you have any that would be brilliant. Thank you. Regards, Brian |
Jozsef I sent you a private message with my email address

Well my plane got to the guys at metal-morphous today. I can't wait to see what they are able to do with it. Once back it should be just a matter of popping everything back in to get it ready to fly.
|
Oh man, that is exciting. It's going to look bad ass. Congrats.

It seems there were two sizes depending on the version. Taken from Squadron Signal Walkaround book on the 15

Thanks for the info. I too have seen this, but documentation from various sources differ a lot, especially as far as drawings and 3-views go, therefore a good photo would be appreciated. There were a lot of (minor) modifications from Fagot-A thruout the bis-version. Also if the MiG were Soviet, Polish, or Czech- built meant differing to some detail. One have to remember, this aircraft were in production and service for quite a long time and various modifications is expected to take place over time I`m sure.
