Might bring the p-20 Habu 32! How long is the runway?
|
RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
I think the runway is 550 feet long with smooth overrun .
Plenty for the Habu 32 ;) |
RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
The Habu should be no problem. If my memory serves me right, keep in mind I'm old, the runway is somewhere around 560 - 565. Anyway, I don't think you will have a problem.

RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
Bpb-0 is correct. I've been corrected. It is 550.

RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
Doug called and informed me that it was 550 and that's where he got it.

RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
ORIGINAL: gushudson Bpb-0 is correct. I've been corrected. It is 550. Gus Everybody's is worried how long the runway is... It's long enough !!! I want to know how wide it is !!! And what is the elevation of the field, the elevation drop from one end to the other, and what direction is down hill, and runway headings, and the magnetic deviation, sunrise and sunset times, ATC/Unicom frequencies for Mt. Pleasant airport and Ft.Worth Center, and Jet-A fuel prices and hours of operation of the FBO there, and what brand turbine oil do they sell ... Have I missed anything ? I'm wore out, and I haven't even left the house yet !! :D Danno |
RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
not worried. Just askin...probably bring the Flash too
|
RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
My version of Google Earth says it's 537 x 38. Let's confirm with Bob, double check with Gus, and verify with Doug in case these numbers are a little off.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif
txshan: it is a Flash friendly field<br type="_moz" /> |

Gus, I can't remember if there is electric under the canopies. If not I will bring my generator.

RE: TEXAS JETS - MT. PLEASANT, TX
Yes, there are a lot of outlets in the pit area. That should be no problem at all.
