jose,

I am not defending TP, I have bought lots of different brands and they all work great. The issue you most likely had is not brand related but more likely the fact it's a 65c battery. For an ECU you don't need a high discharge rate, the lower c rated batteries actually way less which is a positive. When the 65c packs first came out a lot of people saw them swell and also get soft, this was in multiple brands. The 65c packs seem to me more sensitive to being stored at full charge and seem to swell faster if dropped below 3.7. The TP batteries are just fine. I would put 20-30c on the ECU and that will work fine, be more cost effective and save weight.

LOL, I feel the same way, my boy just had his NavyCat with a jetmutant with 2s lipo burn up while in his grage, burned the plane, and messed up a lot of other good stuff. Had to file a clame with this home owners.

I know the turbine companys like 2 lipos to keep the weigh down, but I like 3s lifes becouse they may safe your life to prevent your house buring down.

I see Spektrum now has a 3S life ecu battery: http://www.horizonhobby.com/99v-3000...-spmb3000lfecu

If you tested a few of these 65-70C lipo packs I bet they'd be nearer 30-40C. It's just labels and BS marketing. My favorite are the smaller packs that will supposedly crank out 20 or 30 amps continuous but has a connector that is max 3 amps.

On jetcat Ecu v 6, have the possivility to change the voltage of fuel pump battery to 11,1 v, does anyone tried run the fuel pump with life 9,9v, after change this parameter ?

Just saw a lipo go up in flames at the field. The owner had a nice charger, always charged at 1c but didnt use a balance lead so the charger could see the cell imbalance. There was a loud pop, then he stopped charging and pulled the battery, it was severly swoolen and smoking. About four minutes later poof a nice fire erupted. We're you using a balance lead so that the charger could see the imbalance?

i allways used balancer, my charger is an HITEC X4 PLUS, but, i have had problem only in 3 TP LIPO, the other brands ( flighpower and turnigy ), still in use since 2007!!
my flighpower i bought in 2007, stored until 2011, after this time i start using, well, these packs are flying today, without problem!!
