As a former Northrop employee, it's great to see this plane again.
But I think it's too big for my shop
I hope someday CARF offers a YF-23...for that plane I would buy a bigger house !

I would love to have one. I'm curious Scott, how difficult is it to maintain orientation of this aircraft while flying?

#2 is about ready and production is about to be in full swing.

Scott,

Any chance it will be at Kentucky? I know Bob'o said you guys might not make it, but maybe one of your other guys will bring it?

I took a few photographs of it today at Weston Park, very impressive. (Static display as far as I know)

The first SU-27's have been going out for a while.

Has anyone flown the SU-27 yet? I expected they were having some type of design or production problem... you'd think we'd see something by now. The plane looks amazing.

Ragz 06-19-2016 07:22 AM

I like it already.

At first glance, I assumed it was anything but grass field capable. Has anyone flown it from grass?

Dave Wilshere 06-19-2016 01:51 PM

It would be great if we could have some clarity!
This thread now talks about the F-100 and Su-27. Andres is the only person I know who has flown this B2. The SU-27 flys from grass as shown over this weekend and the prototype test flying.
The B-2 will be officially launched at JP 2016 with deliveries in 2017.
The SU-27 delays were the gear...as normal and likely on most new models.

Doe anyone knows if it flies without gyro ?

jose

Tuggs 08-11-2016 06:22 AM

I saw it flying a couple of weeks ago here in Germany. Looks awesome in the air, however very difficult to see. Kudos to CARF for bringing this bird to the market.

Reg Gyro - From what I've heard, the use of a gyro is imperative.
