Chris,
thank you very much... |
Do you have the cockpit with pilot on yours? If no, consider making two levels of equipment trays. Could make things a lot less crowded. I'm redoing mine now after 150+flights. Going to make some sub trays to hold stuff with a larger tray on top for the rest.

Unfortunately I am using the cockpit with a pilot.. Seems to be getting a little heavy. Stacking does seem like a good idea. If you have some pictures I'd really appreciate it. Using a 12120, smooth stop, BVM retract valve, 2 air fill valves, 2 pressure gauges, 2 solinoids, Etc.
Thanks, Ron |
Mine is completely torn apart right now. You could put the stuff you don't need to get to as often right on the bottom of fuse behind the nose wheel. Then the platform that BVM provides for all the fill stuff. I had pics of my first install here on RCU, can't seem to find them with search....big surprise LOL

That bobcat was setup with the pilot and clear canopy. The 2 solenoids are stacked on top of each other with a festo Y fitting feeding them. The smooth stop is mounted on two short standoffs that allow it to sit above the nose wheel steering servo. Everything is accessible on that setup and easy to maintain. I had a P-80SE on it. That plane flew sweet. I regret selling it and plan on building another soon hopefully.

Thank you very much... exactly what I was looking for..
