Yea, Futaba programming makes my head hurt, as does Jeti, once you figure out how to make functions work for you it's life changing.

The number one thing people always say when I show them how to do stuff on a Core is "No way, it can't be THAT easy!'

Is there a way to set a beep at 1/2 throttle stick? My friend asked me today and I cannot seem to get that done.

Interested in this too - have had a play around but couldn't see a way..

yes.
create a logical switch that activates when the throttle stick is at desired position. Then use voice settings to call out when the logic switch activates. I have a plane that call out 50% and 80% throttle.

I actually did it with 2 timers set up just for this so each model ends up with 3 timers. I was doing this for a friend because I don’t use this feature.

Hi all, for some reason I can not make my trim to beep when adjusting. Could you please provide some guidance, thank you.

Dave Wilshere 04-11-2026 12:15 PM

System settings. Bottom of screen

BarracudaHockey 04-11-2026 12:36 PM

System settings has the trim beep screen, you could have the volume down, or you didn't go into the function then trim setup and tell it to beep, its off by default, needs to be done on each function

Thank you both, the problem was what Andy mentioned. Thanks agin.

Hi all, one more question. I am using a 9 channel receiver. I am using CH9 for battery. can i use the trim / knob of this channel for Gyro adjustment.

Thank you.

David Gladwin 04-24-2026 10:45 PM

Yes. Connecting your battery is only to the power rail , has no effect on the signal.

DUCMOZ 04-25-2026 08:05 AM

Thank you David

To further expand on that answer, the 9D is actually a 26 channel receiver, that has 9 or 10 servo outputs (depending on how you configure the other port in the telemetry menu).

So you can make your gyro gain any channel above 9 that you like and still have 9 servo outputs if you need them.

DUCMOZ 04-25-2026 11:45 AM

Oh thank you Andy, got it. So based on this, I assume that if I assign the trim or switch of Servo 10 or 11 to the gyro, it would still work although I have only 9 channel of physical output?

Thank you.

10, 11, 26 it doesn't matter.
Create a function for gain, assign the switch or knob, assign servo number whatever above 10. Go into the gyro menu and make sure the gain channel matches that servo/channel number and you're all set.

Same when you get into the Pioneers and stuff they have 16 servo outputs, you can use any of the non servo output channels, 18 or whatever for gain and capacity reset.

I have a GPS 3, but I can't get the current speed to announce continuously. It's probably very simple for many, but unfortunately not for me. Can someone help me out? Thanks if possible.

grolleman 05-07-2026 09:10 PM

After watching Costaz V's video again, I found it. I had just missed a small part of the video. Now I can try to see if it helps me during the landing.I can turn it off with a switch so it doesn't become annoying.
