Repair Technique Suggestions...

I had a minor mishap yesterday. This is a canard from my SAB AVIO Lizard. Spares are not available yet, so I need to repair. I'd like to get some suggestions for repair methods.

Thank you!

I would get some 1/16 balsa and cut it to have the grain parallel to the leading edge. Hysol the balsa into one side of the stab to make a tongue as far as you can get it in both pieces. Do this on both top and bottom. When one side is cured apply hysol to the other side and the edges of the Airex. Push them together and secure with tape. Make sure the leading/trailing edges of the stab are straight.

Will use gorilla glue ( spray a bit with water)
make sure everything is strait and tape. When dry sand and fill any whole and repaint.
will use Epoxy if the rod for the canard is damaged for sure..so many way to fix

Epoxy glue it, sand to rough the surface, apply light carbon fiber cloth and resin, primer+putty, lots of fine sanding, paint.

I have shaped pink foam to fit inside and glue. Then you can lay some light glass over both sides using finishing epoxy and it will be stronger than when new.

Best advise so far. If you got a very good composite guy near you. He will make a new one without the need of using a repair one. It doesn't look that bad to make a new one out of the broken one.
