Roo Questions
GOT A ROO FARM HERE!!! MY SON AND I HAVE 3
all with the following equipment: Radio JR 10channel turbine amt merc Retracts struts Robart Roo Brakes and wheels BVM 2 switches 2 jr 1400 mah packs Tank Turbine Connection 100 oz bvm smooth stop volt meters on all bat systems ( including the turbine ) air guage ------cant tell you how many mishaps ive seen because they didnt have the air guage....way too many didnt know they had a leak....mme i always know ----cause there it is....and that means time to lube the smooth stop o-rings ( which is usually the culprit) please note the roo can take a p-120 ( 27 lbs) but to do that its a good idea to not cheat the servo man.......too many builders are doing just that....the reason they split the elevons on the new composite roo was to increase the margine of safty and create redundancy....we have 7 8411s on the planes ( 4 elevons--2 rudders----1 speed brake ).......yea im over engineered but we can slap our p-120 on one of them and muscle it up with anyone ttyl gregg |
Roo Questions
hornet driver.
Does the Turbine Connection have a web page? I would like to take a look at the roo tank. I am thinking of buying a roo here where I live ( it has 4 flights on it and is not the composite roo). It carries 78 oz of fuel ( which I have been told is not enough). Thanks for all of the replies from everyone! Gene |
