cermark mb-339 arf question?
will the mb-339 fly well with a pst 600 with tams pipe and no bypass, or is the bypass and dl pipe, bypass system better.

RE: cermark mb-339 arf question?
Hi
I had a M339/Cermark with a Jetcat 120. It flew well without any bypass at all and made no difference to anything in my set up. I also know of another 339 flying on a P80 with the same setup up and no difference. Expect its easier to see and to get at. Happy bouncing !! |
RE: cermark mb-339 arf question?
Mine has 200 flights, mostly P-80 and lately P-70. Usually fly at half thrust maybe 8-10lbs, and it takes off nicely at that setting and flies effortlessly. Full power occasionally only for a low pass or some vertical but it doesn't need it. No bypass in mine. The bouncing will go away if you use some knee action struts like the Intairco short nose strut on the mains. Also dial in some crow on the ailerons.

Hi there
You are right in my opinion and I enclose two shots of my solution plus a rebuild of the wing with 1/4" light ply and reinforcing the underside of the top of the wing with 2mm ply. I enclose two shots of my solution. |
