RE: Neck Strap or not?
Can't fly without it.
Keeps you in better control especially when trimming and when flying a model that requires hitting switches for gear, flaps, ect. Highly recommend |
RE: Neck Strap or not?
ORIGINAL: bob1393 It looks like the strap vs. no strap is about 2 to 1 in favor of the strap. I fly with thumb and index finger and just purchased a neck strap. I'm going to try it and see what all you strap guys are talking about. Anybody know how long it takes to get used to it? Bob I started using a strap last Dec during the time I was putting together my first Big Boomer. I stood in front of my computer flight sim and got everything adjusted so I could get used to the strap. Still didn't feel right. So I practiced every day for about 2 weeks. Couldn't fly outside because the weather was too bad. Everytime I practiced on the flight sim it felt more natural. I would say it took about a month for me before I really got used to it and now I fly with it all the time. One of the benefits that I have noticed is that my flying has become smoother. Roy |
RE: Neck Strap or not?
Thanks Roy. I'll try it for awhile and see how it goes. Happy new year to you. The Panther is ready to go.
