NiMH Experience
Hi everyone,
Can some of you give your experience with NiMH batteries on Rx and ECU system? Thanks, Rick. |
RE: NiMH Experience
I had been using them on Rx and ECU.
Just pay attention when you charging them. Charge NiMH in low current. I charge my ECU 3300 at .50mah- 1. It take awhile to get fully charge. If you charge at higher rate. It only can charge 30-40% of the capacity. Tam |
RE: NiMH Experience
I've been using them on the RX in D/Fs for years with no problems. I have one for a JetCat ECU that has worked well also.

RE: NiMH Experience
Been using 6 cell, 3300mAH NiMH cells in electric RC cars. These battery packs are matched cells and are offered by SMC Batteries. Can be charged at 6 AMPS! Priced at around $40 - $45 per pack.
