RE : Cockpit recognizing : which jet is it ?
It's the English Electric Lightning, two seat trainer version. The give-away clues are the hoods over the radar scopes, and the straight strip machmeter at the top of the panel. Hats off for Harry ! He is the first one to have found the good answer ! Man, you just impressed me ! It's now up to you to add a cockpit picture... SJN, please abide by the rule ! It was not up to you to add... |

RE: Cockpit recognizing : which jet is it ?
Hasn't Goodman got his pix in a twist, first its the JET Provost T3, T4 , note the LP and HP cock levers on the center pedestal and the T5 had an electrically operated canopy but this pic shows the canopy winding handle, the Provost was piston powered (Alvis Leonides 540) then the Vampire T11 and finally the Venom !

Its unlikely to be a prop trainer with a rubber radar boot for each occupant. Personlly I think its an A6 Intruder.
