Thanks for the info on your A-10. It sounds great and I would love to see it fly. Also the picture of the grey A-10 in the hangar next to the full scale F-117.

MY BVM MIG-15

1 Attachment(s)
This is a picture of my BVM MIG-15, I started it in January of 2000 and finished it ready for maiden flight in June. I'm told by Col. Jack Wilhite the colors are ones used by the Chinese Air force demonstration team in the early 80's. He has hangered here locally in Denver a MIG-17 with this color scheme, I finished my MIG as close to his as possible, in his honor. At first I thought this color scheme might be hard to see on a nice sever clear Colorado day. Not so it really shows up and the Dark top color Red is a perfect contrast for the lighter showing sky blue of the bottom. You can tell top from bottom way far out, even if your not used to seeing only shapes. I have the New Futaba 9ZWCII synthesized transmitter and receiver which provides an excellent RF link. The aircraft is powered by The Jet Cat Hammer P-80 turbine. Full auto start is really nice on busy flight lines like Superman where at times you can have 6 or 7 turbines running / starting at a time. If you had to rely on hearing a any part of a start sequence you'd be out of luck. What a great flying aircraft, fun to fly and build

Here's a pic of my current turbine fleet. The BVM MiG 15 was my first turbine. Started flying it last year and it now has 239 flights. RAM 1000 Remote Start in it. The BVM Bandit was first flown in April this year and has 145 flights with a RAM 1000 Remote Start. The BVM BobCat just started flying September 30th this year and has 154 flights to date. RAM 500 on this one. I really enjoy flying the BobCat. Nice and simple, and the 500 doesn't burn much fuel. This year alone I've flown 413 flights on these models. BTW, all of them are using JR radio equipment.

Hello everybody,

Here is my newest addition built from the BVM F-16C kit.

Powered by a JetCat P-80, this F-16N has a "wet" centerline tank and an operational pitot tube speed sensor mounted on the vertical fin.

The subject aggressor aircraft was flown by the Naval Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) at NAS Miramar, California.

Gene,

check to see if your image is really jpeg or gif. Go into an image editing program and resave it as a .jpg file smaller than 100k preferably and see if it will upload. If it won't email it to RCadmin (me - I'm logged in as awesomerc here on my pc since can't login as myself on both computers ) and I will find what the problem is. Another user said the same thing and I just brought it into photoshop and resaved it as a jpeg and it uploaded ok for me.

One other way to get a picture online is if it exists somewhere on the web just put a link to the URL in your post and use the [img] tags around the link and it will show up here without uploading it.

RCadmin

( Disclosure - I will only login as RCadmin or awesomerc. RCadmin is on my primary computer a Mac and for development & testing I use a PC and need to login with non-admin status thus the awesomerc username )

Gordon that's a really neat color scheme, I'll bet that was fun painting! And that under carriage "We will be touching down ever so gently" won't we!

Yellow Aircraft F-18

Maverick,

The F-18 is a Yellow A/C kit, single engine version.

It's just about loaded up to the max.

16 servos

Flaps, operational Canopy, canopy lock hooked up to functional searchlight, inflight mixutre, wheel brakes

I went a bit overboard on the weight, it's about 14.2 lbs dry. Next time I'll have to go a bit easier on the clear coat!!!
