Df engine question

Hi everyone

Has anyone tried the .40 GRRT PYLON engine from MVVS for ducted fan use? Its specs look close and it not too expensive. see link for the engine

RE: Df engine question

Kev,

I don't think you will get the RPM you need for a fan out of this engine. Plus it is wider than most fan mounts. The GRRT works well with props though.

RE: Df engine question

if you can fit one in a kress 740 fan , www.kress-jets.com , you may be able to fly small ducted fan jets, like the F-86 from electric jet factory( formely HOB ) or the f-4 FROM JD enterprise ; i dont think that you could fly regular .45 size jets ( like jet hangar ) with that combination
