it had its maiden flight this afternoon, then 4more[:) weight 3lb 14oz dry span 880mm turbine Kolibri T-32 |

Here are a few more pictures
i sat the turbine rails on the elevator plywood plates to give correct thrust line. cut the front hatch out and fitted both battery packsto a ply plate on the nose no lead was required as the balance was spot on Dubro 12oz tank on cg |

CG is at 225mm as instruction sheet , i think the Kolibri is pushing about 3.5lbs thrust

Any more details of the engine?
How much did it cost? Where did you buy it from (any UK dealers)? How does it run? The F15 looks great and that little engine would be awesome for the club field. |

The engine is available from Martin Lambert in Germany www.lambert-modelturbine.de i dont think
he has a uk dealer. the engine runs well and starts very quick with the supplied 12v air blower. The cost, his larger turbines are cheaper but this little one is about £1700. |
