Hi Billy

I use elev. 7/8" up and down ( 20 % expo )
ail 3/4 " up and down ( 15% expo )
rudder 1 " right and left
Flap 15 degrees takeoff ( use them!! ) 40 degrees landing

On takeoff, establish a brisk run then pull back. You will need about 1/2 stick to initiate rotation which is perfectly normal. It flys nice!

Thank you very much Dean. Someone told me that full flaps kinda washed out the elevator. What do you think?

RE: PCM L1011 Throws

My technique is to go to full flaps on downwind and maintain a descending baseleg turn to final. About 25 % power with a JetCat P80. Then once on final I come off on the throttle and begin to flare. She is very solid in this configuration and is fully controllable in flaring. She will land very, very slowly.
