yep 30 hours
I see that I have alot of people asking 30 hours really. Yes really thrity hours Dave asked me to keep track of how long it was taking me. I do have to reinstall the gear when it arrives I took mine out of my Balsa Bandit to set it up , so that might take another few hours. I do have to reply about the supply and demand perod issue thought, Yes supply and demand is a part of the factor but no where near what the factor of quality and enginerring is. The reason that I was able to build the thing so quickly was that I didn't spend one minute trying to make a part fit or to make a system work I just took them out of the box and assembled it and it went together the way it should have and worked the way it was supposed to. To me the differance in price is well worth the extra cost since I have such little time to build everyday. When you factor in your time that inexpensive kit that needed a lot of rethinking on your part wasn't such a good deal. That is if your time is worth anything to you.

BVM Prices
It is about as simple as this; You get what you pay for. With BVM you are paying for years of engineering, years of experience, the things all work and you get a lot of support and misc. parts that no other manuf. gives you. By the way, you also recieve with every BVM kit very nice easy to read and understand instructions and plans.
It's not snobish to fly BVM products, it's intellegent. At least for some of us anyway. I can attest to the price of frustration too!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like to fly not spend all my time re-working, repairing, re-engineering and the like. How about you?!?!?!?! |
