Aviation Design Phoenix?
Would this be a good first jet? I have been flying for about 7 years. I fly the Lanier Extra 330 now with a D.A. 50cc. I just don't want to get board with a Boomerang after awhile.
Thanks! |
RE: Aviation Design Phoenix?
Did you go to the Woodland/Davis Jet Fun Fly a few weeks ago? Did you see anything there that you liked, for example, the new Rookie, old Rookie, Reaction 54, BVM Bandit, etc? I was there with my new Rookie and I now have just over 100 flights on it. I can tell you I'm still working my way up to using the thrust vectoring as part of my routine. There are a lot of features this jet has that keeps me busy with the Tx controls and setup when I need it. I think its a good handeling jet for introductory to turbines as well as dialing in your skills for something down the road such as the scale jets offered by Skymaster, BVM, TAM, Jetlegend, etc. I don't think the jets will be as forgiving on landing as your Extra 330, so you may want to find somebody willing to buddy box with you just so that you get a feel for the difference in performance. Good luck.
